Nestled
on a 48-acre wooded campus in Smyrna, Georgia, is Woodland
Ridge -- an affordable nonprofit community
designed for senior adults. In these quiet, serene surroundings,
our caring, professional staff addresses the social,
physical, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs
of residents who require assisted living or specialized
Alzheimer's care.
Woodland Ridge offers more to the community than just
personal care assistance. We provide adult day programs,
respite care, and more for seniors who have special
health needs.
Friendly, caring, and specialty-trained staff members
are here 24 hours a day to meet scheduled and unscheduled
needs. Thanks to our building's design, our residents
have the opportunity to stroll in a comfortable, secure
setting while also taking advantage of specialty-designed
activities throughout the building.
Our respite program is designed to help when a temporary
residence is needed, either for recuperation after a
medical procedure or when a family caregiver is away.
We welcome you for an evening, a week-end or longer.
Our facility offers a variety of features designed
to satisfy your loved one's needs and desires. Click

strength training, music therapy, life experience programs,
intergenerational events, and spiritual connections.
At Woodland Ridge, we take great pride in delivering personal
care in a gracious atmosphere that enhances dignity.
By treating residents as family members and recognizing
individual personalities, we allow residents to be "the
best they can be!"

April 19, 2006
Dear Sir or Madam,
I just looked at your career website and sent
my resume, but wanted to send this email to you
as Human Resources Director. My father
is
in Woodland Ridge with Alzheimers and has been
there about six months now. The level of care
and caring that has been given to him, my mother,
my sister and myself has been exemplary!
Valoree, Goines, Toni, Nazarene, Keeta (not sure
about the spelling) and everyone have been so
kind and attentive to both his condition and our
family's anxieties. My mother, who is elderly
herself (83) visits twice a day and spends time
with my father seven days a week. The daily reports
and care have helped her tremendously with the
adjustments she has faced after 59 years of marriage.
I hear my little mom say everyday how blessed
we are to have those wonderful people watching
after Daddy.
Please pass on to them how much it has meant
to our family and they surely deserve a tremendous
amount of recognition!
I am sorry I cannot remember every name of the
people I have met, but they all have taken the
time to stop and welcome our family and answer
any concerns or questions.
Sincerely,
S. L, Jr.
